VBS 2008 Registration

Parent's Guide to Surfers' Paradise VBS
June 23-27, 2007 - 9am to Noon

Thank you for making Surfers' Paradise and Concordia Lutheran Church your VBS choice. In order to ensure a smooth drop off and pick up of your little Kingdom Seeker, please read and follow these simple guidelines. Thanks, and have an awesome week in the Lord!

Special Buddy Requests (please note requests can only be filled if):

Your child is registering for the same age group as their requested friend.
Please try to register during the same time period to ensure your request is met.
While we make every effort to place your child with his/her requested friend, we may not be able to accomodate every request.
Deadline for requests is midnight June 10th.

Drop Off and Pick Up: Pre K and Kindergarten

Drop Off (9:00am) and Pick Up (11:45am) your child in the same classroom each day.
Familiarize yourself with the lead teachers who are easily identified in yellow Surfers' Paradise T-shirts.
PreK children must be potty trained by 6/23/08 and age 4 by 9/01/08.
Please be prepared to show a picture ID.

Drop Off and Pick Up: 1st through 5th grade

Familiarize yourself with the character marker and color which identifies the pew where your child will be located.
Pick Up: Please wait outside the Worship Center until the closing session is COMPLETED! In order to avoid disruption during the closing, doors will be kept closed until the closing prayer is complete.
So you won't miss any of the closing session, please watch our outdoor monitors located in the Worship Center Breezeway.
When the doors open, please enter only through the doors marked "ENTER" in order to provide for a safe and efficient exiting of all participants.

LATE Drop Off and Early Pick Up:

Children that need to be dropped off late MUST BE CHECKED IN AT THE REGISTRATION CENTER (located in the Breezeway of the Administration Building) with one of the Registration Specialists (identified with a red Surfers' Paradise T-shirt).
Children that need to be picked up early MUST BE CLEARED THROUGH THE REGISTRATION CENTER (located in the Breezeway of the Administration Building) with one of the Registration Specialists (identified with a Red Surfers' Paradise T-shirt). Your child WILL NOT be released without a Registration Specialist's consent.
Please be prepared to show a picture ID.

Your Child's Safety - our number one priority!

In order to ensure everyone's safety, two uniformed police officers will be on duty throughout VBS.
No flip-flops - wear closed toe shoes.

Changes or drops
Please notify Nicole Carmines at if there are any changes to your child's registration or if your child will be unable to attend VBS.

   Directors - Orange
   Teachers - Yellow
   Pre-K/Kindergarten Crew Leaders - Green
